A Few Words from Cecilia

Hi, I am Cecilia. I am passionate about helping people to live authentic, empowered lives.  My style is friendly, warm, encouraging, and engaging. I focus on the strengths and resources of my clients as well as the things that they are currently doing right as a way of enhancing and developing ways to heal and grow from the changes and challenges that bring them to therapy.

I specialize in children, teenagers, and family work. I have helped many individuals navigate different challenges including sexual abuse and trauma. I also work with individuals with issues of depression, anxiety, stress, anger management, grief/loss and pornography addiction. I am trained in a method called EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and use it to help those who are struggling with traumatic memories and/or PTSD live a full life and leave their past behind. I use a client-centered approach, based on what will be most beneficial to each individual or family.

I also have a teenage boy at home and I have experienced the death of my beloved husband. I combine many personal and professional experiences to help you get the most out of every session.  I would love an opportunity to talk with you and to support you as you go through life’s challenges.
