An immigration or psychosocial evaluation consists of a series of clinical interviews and diagnostic questionnaires with a specialized mental health professional. The interpretation and clinical recommendations are written in an 8-14 page report. This document explains in detail the history, current life, and the difficulties the individual is going through. It also explains the possible consequences that the individual could suffer if there is a separation from a loved one or a relocation to another country.
For what immigration cases are these evaluations for?
An immigration evaluation is an integral part of your case, used by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The most common cases that can request an immigration evaluation are:
